IRN-BRU
“Your body needs to be held and to hold, to be touched and to touch. None of these needs is to be despised, denied, or repressed. But you have to keep searching for your body’s deeper need, the need for genuine love. Every time you are able to go beyond the body’s superficial desires for love, you are bringing your body home and moving toward integration and unity.”
—Henri Nouwen
Started the day with a mix of juices and my stomach is going to tell in a little while. Boy, I tell you! If you EVER are constipated, GO FOR LIME JUICE! I tell you! That of all the juices, just, gets you through! (Not that I am. I’m just saying.) Drinking a cool, delicious IRN-BRU now.
Here, doing the laundry and so despite my inclination to NOT swim, I swam, and am better for it. I’m glad. I went swimming. It was 71 degrees in the pool, 62 or so in the air around, and I wore a ski-cap (synthetic ALADANADA brand) and feel real good. GOOD! Because I’ve felt crap of late. Inside, in my wounded soul, you know? Damn.
